  • Juan Luis Crespo

    Founder and Executive Director

    Juan Luis is a Commercial Engineer from the Universidad Católica de Chile and an MBA specialized in tourism and hospitality from EAE Business School, Barcelona, ​​Spain.

    He has more than 11 years of work experience in the tourism industry.

    He developed his first years as a professional in charge of tourism and productive development in the Municipality of Viña del Mar, as part of the Youth at the Service program in Chile.

    He then worked at LAN Airlines, in charge of defining and implementing the Receptive and Internal Tourism Strategy, as well as leading the Preferred Partners Program, a strategic alliance between the airline and the main tour operators, hotels, and tourism promotion entities in Chile, Peru, Argentina and Ecuador, in order to enhance the international promotion of these destinations in international markets.

    From March 2010 to March 2013 he served as General Manager of FEDETUR, Federation that brings together more than 1,000 leading companies in the sector in Chile.

  • Rosario Vodanovic

    CEO

    Rosario is a Commercial Engineer from the Universidad de Chile. Part of her studies were carried out at Friedrich Alexander Universität, Germany.

    She started her professional career in 2008 at Unilever where she was in charge of marketing different mass consumption brands and a year of those she was in charge of regional marketing for Latin America for a brand in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

    Tilting her career towards the social, after having traveled a year, she decided to enter Fundación Chile where she carried out corporate marketing, in charge of various projects in different areas.

    Then she was invited to participate in a venture of an American tea brand, Adagio Teas, where she performed various functions, finally serving as Commercial Manager. She is part of the Smartrip team since 2016 and currently holds the position of CEO.

  • Adriana Cruz

    Marketing Manager

    Adriana is a Commercial Engineer from the Universidad Católica de Chile, part of her studies were carried out at Stellenbosch University, South Africa.
    She started her professional career in 2007 at Unilever where she was in charge of marketing mass consumption brands.

    Leaning her career towards tourism, she took the course "The Business of Rural Tourism" at the University of Buenos Aires.

    In 2010, she entered Sernatur as National Marketing Manager, carrying out the strategy and creation of the "Chile es TUYO" brand, in addition to being responsible for the first national tourism fair. Adriana is part of the Smartrip team since its inception, currently occupying the position of Marketing Manager.

    Her passion for travel has led her to travel the world in search of knowledge that she can apply in Chile.

  • Marta Arenas

    Head of Booking

    With more than 20 years of experience in the field of tourism, Marta has worked in important companies in Chile, such as Turavion, CTS Turismo and First Premium.

    She has worked in different areas, such as sales executive, in charge of booking system, training of reservation staff, advice and Supervisor of the Department of America of the Receptive Department.

    She is part of the Smartrip team since 2015 and currently serves as Head of Reservations.

  • Fernanda Torres

    Booking Executive

    Fernanda studied Industrial Design at the Universidad de Chile and part of her studies at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

    She is currently studying Business Administration with a major in Marketing at the Universidad Mayor.
    Always motivated by social projects, she has been part of Un Techo and Tudo de Cor para Você

    Her studies in English and Portuguese nourish her as a professional capable of communicating internationally.

    She joined the Smartrip team in 2016 and currently serves as a Booking Executive and in charge of Digital Marketing.

    In addition to being a student, she is always interested in being a contribution to tourism in Chile.

  • Antonella Ferralis

    Commercial Manager

    Antonella is a Commercial Engineer from the Universidad de los Andes. She began her professional career in 2005 in Cencosud where she was in charge of the purchasing area of different household categories in the Paris and Johnson department store division for Chile and Peru.

    In 2013, after moving to London, she entered the design office of Eva Menz Design where she performed various functions, finally serving as Studio Manager, a position she held until 2015. Since then she has been acting as Procurement Manager in charge of the BWT purchasing area, company of Interior Design & Architecture.

    She joined the Smartrip team in December 2018 to serve as the company's Commercial Manager.

  • Verónica Binder

    Global Market Manager

    Verónica is a Journalist from the Universidad Católica de Chile and MBA from IE Business School, Madrid, Spain. She began her professional career designing and implementing communication strategies for large companies in the communications consultancy b2o.

    In 2014, she joined Turismo Chile's marketing department, in charge of communication actions aimed at the tourism industry.

    In 2015 she joined the digital marketing area of Sernatur, where she led relevant tourism promotion projects such as the website www.chile.travel and the “Find your Chile” video series.

    After completing postgraduate studies in Spain, Verónica joined the Smartrip team in 2019 to open the international division of Smartrip.

  • Carolina Spencer

    Head of Sustainability Projects

    Sociologist and Bachelor in Social Sciences and Humanities from the Universidad Católica de Chile. She received a postgraduate scholarship to pursue a master's degree in Social Anthropology at the University of Goldsmiths in London (2013), from where he graduated with distinction.

    Her work experience subscribes to the fields of cultural identity, heritage, socio-cultural development and education. In these areas, she has worked in research, program design, management, supervision and evaluation.

    She was in charge of the implementation of public policies in culture, on a national scale, and was responsible for the Education and Extension area of the prestigious Puerto de Ideas festival.

    She is currently in charge of defining and supervising the social projects that are carried out in the territory.

  • Carlos Molinelli

    Financial and Accounting Advisor

    Public Accountant Auditor of UDP, Diploma in Tax Management of USACH and Diploma in International Accounting in Universidad de Chile.

    He has 20 years of experience in audit, accounting, finance and taxation, of which 16 years he has perform in the field of Hospitality and Tourism. He started in the Córpora Holding and then moved to the hotel sector as General Accountant and Controller of Explora hotels.

    He currently advises various companies in the field of Hospitality and Tourism in conjunction with other economic activities.
